This is me

This is me.

This is my surrender
To the pain that
I have too long experienced
To the suffering that
Seems without end
To giving myself
My love
And all I have to offer
To those who don’t appreciate
To those who have no eyes to see
No heart to give or love.

This is me:
Naked and lost.
There is no guide.
Where is there comfort
In love that is taken for granted?
That has
No value
In the eyes of
To whom it is offered?

I continue to travel
This barren terrain
In the hope that
Hope will be offered.
That the darkness
Will give way to Light...
And that I will be able to navigate
My way
Once more
In fertile Land.
